Without the arrogance of faith, a god-based religion would not exist

God-based religions REQUIRE the arrogance of faith; that is, a belief that something is true simply because one believes it is true.

This is why religion breeds arrogance. Without the arrogance of faith, one would have to justify or prove one's beliefs. God-based religions are based on a belief in a god myth. There is no proof of any god, and therefore no foundation on which to build any proof for a god-based religion.

Since the foundation of all god-based religions, that is, the existence of god, cannot be proved, then ALL statements based on a belief in god also have no proof.

Is it any wonder that religious leaders want you be arrogant in your faith? They want you to believe that somehow god exists outside the realm of proof?
